Market Watch: Sugar Snap Peas

Although the first tomatoes of the season were at the market this morning, I was more excited by the appearance of these sugar snap peas. Last week I was lamenting the lack of spring, and these sweet, crispy pods will more than make up for it. Eat them raw or quickly sear them in olive oil with a sprinkle of salt and pepper, then toss with some fresh mint (which is also available at the market).
