I guess this is about week 8 into our backyard project. I suuuurreee have learned a lot about what to do and what NOT to do, failure is the best teacher right?
Sorry Howard, all of your artichoke sprouts, except for 1, decided to hate the outdoors and died but the radishes, in a week, are growing fiercely.
Here is my tin of gai lan, kale flowers, growing in a tomato can and to my surprise the mustard green that I thought were gone started to sprout again, happy days!
We spent a good Saturday afternoon transferring what was left of the sprouts into planters. *Above Howard’s artichoke. We found chives and cilantro growing in few of the planters. We had these last year and they grew on their own, wow nature! Surprisingly leaving the sprouts in the sun for a whole week in the yard, some of the dormant seeds started to sprout and we some mustard greens back, hurray!! Come on warm weather!
